About the Event
As many of you know, Studios @ SETAY and The Future Is Now Initiative (TFIN), our new 501(c)(3) non-profit have hosted Thanksgiving Day brunches for those in Arizona who didn't have relatives nearby. These gatherings have always been about creating family, connection, and community.
Recently, after attending a Chicago Stepping event, several attendees shared information about the annual Las Vegas Thanksgiving weekend Chicago Stepping “Turkey Trot” event. Knowing that TFINI hosts fundraising events, I was asked to explore arranging a Thanksgiving weekend bus trip from Phoenix to Las Vegas and invite Turkey Trot participants and others interested in a fun-filled, holiday getaway.
With this being such a short notice, several key tasks must be completed quickly to determine whether this trip is financially feasible.
